SEASON DEDICATED TO NATE SINGO

Posted Sunday, September 04, 2011 by Ed Dalton
Our Varsity Football Seniors came to me with a request in the middle of the summer, can we dedicate the season to our freind Nate Singo who passed away in a tragic auto accident in April.  As someone who also knew Nate I said without question we can, but let us make sure we do it in a way Nate would have wanted us to.  This season you will notice on our Helmets instead of a block T on each side on one side of the helmet we have a black small stripe instead of a T.  You will also notice instead of our coaching staff in grey, blue, or white, shirts our school colors, they are wearing black in memory of Nate.
We are not dedicating wins or losses to Nathan we are dedicating our effort every play every day, to his memory.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I do not die.
