The Trinity Area Board of Education approved the football budget and then two Board members Mrs. Clutter and Mrs. Interval then had a meeting with Athletic Director Bob Jones and cut an additional 60% from the budget.  The total budget this season consists of $1700 in supplies.  Add to this that all athletes must now pay $75 to even play a sport.  Other sports were also effected dramatically, and it appears that the entire Board of Education did not know these additional cuts were being made of the supply budget.  I would ask that if you are not in support of these additional cuts the parents of our 150 plus players, speak with your elected Board members and plan on attending the July 21st Board Meeting.
