High school football roundup: Defense dominates as Trinity wins, 23-0

 Michael Cleveland accounted for three scores, including two touchdown receptions, Friday night to help Trinity take a 23-0 victory from Elizabeth Forward in a Big Eight Conference game.

Cleveland kicked a 32-yard field goal and caught touchdown passes of eight and five yards from quarterback Brad Martin for the Hillers (3-1, 4-2).

Martin completed 11 of 16 passes for 135 yards and three touchdowns. He also hit Tyler Billie on a 10-yard score in the second quarter. Billie had three catches for 30 yards. Pat Frey rushed for 83 yards on 11 carries.

Trinity intercepted four EF (0-4, 0-6) passes as Billie had two. Cleveland and Michael Schumacher each had one. The Hillers outgained EF 308-130.
