Ken Wilkins, a linebacker at Trinity High School, announced at a news conference today that he will attend the University of Michigan.
Wilkins (6 feet 3, 240 pounds), who will be a senior this fall at Trinity, had a number of scholarship offers from Division I colleges, but Michgian, Pitt and West Virginia were his top choices.
Wilkins is the second player from the WPIAL class of 2010 to choose Michigan. Hampton defensive end-linebacker Jordan Paskorz made a verbal commitment to Michigan a few weeks ago. Michigan now has 13 recruits from the class of 2010.
