I traveled to Granville<ohio on Saturday to watch the final home game of four Trinity seniors who have had remarkable careers at Denison. Three of the four have started over 30 games for the Big Red, and one John Berg is a captain. To say the program is very proud of these young men is an understatement and to receive a degree at a great academic instiution like Denison is awesome. Below is a short capsule about each player
John Berg #24 - Captain and three year starter has over 200 career rushing yards and is on pace to go ver 1000 yards his senior season, Jon's major is economics.
Jordan Linck #4 - Jordan hurt his shoulder and was unable to play this year so he spent his time as a student coach. Jordan was starting as a junior at qb when he injured his rotator cuff despite surgery he has not fully recovered yet. Jordan is an economic's major.
Jim Minor #43 - Jim leads the team in tackles for the second consecutive season and is a four year starter at lb. The game I watched on Saturday Jim was devasting going sideline to sideline making tackles and hitting anything that moved, Jim is an economics finance major.
Will Minor #50 - Will is a four year starter at ol and h back and continues his devasting blocking and leadership role on the team. Will is the student body president and is also a business finance ecomomics major.
Three brilliant young men who had great college experiences, what more could you ask for? Congratulations, to their parents...as we are you should be very proud!
