Montour was able to score on its first possesion and we were not able to capatalize on very good field position the rest of the first half as Montour advanced to the WPIAL Semi-Finals 20-7. For 22 great seniors it was their final game in a Hiller uniform, but not without a great legacy. The 2007 senior football players were the first team to play in the WPIAL playoffs all three years on the varsity, the first to play on national television, they shattered the offensive scoring and total yardage records, won a WPIAL playoff game for the second time, and in general were just a great group of young men. My thoughts are that at least 12 of the 22 will continue to play in college. When the hurt gets over from the loss we will all be able to understand the true legacy of the 2007 Hillers.
