DAN MILLER MIGHT BE THE HARDEST WORKER I HAVE EVER COACHED!!

Posted Saturday, July 07, 2007 by Ed Dalton

I am very slow to praise sophomores. So to praise sophomores two weeks in a row is difficult for me. But when I sat down and had to think of this week's Player of the Week, when I got to Dan Miller's name I wondered, has he not won this award yet? I would have to say without a shadow of a doubt he is the hardest working sophomore I have ever coached...period. He is also very close to the hardest working player I have ever coached. His work habits and dedication are above reproach and truly something he, his family, and teamates, should be very proud of him for developing. Check these numbers out, for a 5'8-160 pound sophomore runningback:

forty yard dash - 4.67
pro shuttle - 4.45
bench press - 275
squat - at least 400
cleans - at least 185

It is for his extreme 3 hour a day dedication that I can without reservation name Dan Miller this weeks Trinity Football Player of the Week. Congratulations Dan!!!
