Well the results from the first passing camp are in and they are very positive for a Hiller passing game that lost record setting QB Cody Endres[U Conn] and record setting receiver Ben Howard[Waynesburg]. Trinity ran off four consecutive wins in the tournament before falling in the Championship Game to University School Of Morgantown. Senior QB Ian Haley caught fire about game three and completed nearly 75% of his passes the rest of the day as the Hillers got on a roll. On the other end of the Haley throws were Andrew Sweat, Graham Cowieson, Alex Frey, JD Berry and Jack Jamerson, as well as Mike Yancich.
Defensively the Hillers after game one were impresive holding opponents to about one touchdown a game, and making some impressive picks. Mike Digon, JD Berry, Andrew Volpe, all had multiple picks. Also playing very well on the Trinity Defense were Andrew Sweat, Mike Yancich, Chuck Sochar, Derrick Doulliez, Drew Iams, Preston Linck, Andrew Volpe.
The Hillers Varsity travels to another 7 on 7 on Tuesday.
