When I first watched Chris Dames run the football in youth league he was a small, tough, determined, young runner. He was one of the better RB's in the TRFL and he continued to enjoy the same success on the MS and Ninth Grade Teams. When Chris became a sophomore with our stable of very good junior and senior RB's, Chris quickly realized he was going to get alot of work versus our Varsity Defense. I am not sure if it was all that or part of getting beat up some in practice but Chris has really dedicated himself to the strength and speed programs and the results have been remarkable and very noticable. Measurable now 5'8, 165 very muscular, 4.6 forty on the verge of 4.5, 250 plus bench max, closing in on a 400 pound squat. Chris Dames has posted noticed on our large senior class of football players that he is ready to challenge on both sides of the ball for a starting role this year. It is because of Chris's enormous dedication he has been named this week Trinity Football player of the week.
