When I think of Jack Jamerson I think of a tough kid who loves to weight train, and is blessed with many physical gifts. As a tight end his blocking ability is assumed, but his pass catching ability has been very suspect. Well after our last spring clinic my entire evaluation of Jack as a pass receiver has changed dramatically. Jack caught everything thrown his way this past week in spring clinic. Not only did he catch the ball he caught the ball away from his body, and ran very good routes. Without question Jack is a potential Division I prospect next season, and with this last week's clinic he is really rising as the kind of athlete who will make a difference on the high school level. It is because of Jack's hard work and performance at our spring clinic that he has been selected this week's athlete of the week. Continue your hard work in strength and speed training, but there is no substitute in developing as a pass receiver like going out with a qb and catching the ball.
