ANOTHER HILLER WEARING THE SCARLET AND GREY

Posted Thursday, May 31, 2007 by Ed Dalton
Andrew Sweat did what the Buckeye nation was hoping he would do and announced his intentions to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Andrew becomes the fifth Hiller in the last 3 seasons to earn a Division I football scholarship, and with two more Hillers already having Division I offers [Brandon Weaver and Mike Yancich] and a possible three more with the potential in this senior class, that would make ten. Talk about something to talk about if your a Trinity fan.
Andrew had 34 large school Divison I scholarship offers, and 20 more from smaller ones, for a total of 54 scholarship offers. Not being from the area I asked one of the local sports writers and he told me Andrew was the most sought after recruit from this area since Brian Davis played for Washington. Andrew went through the entire spring recruiting process before narrowing his list down and making his final decision. Congratulations Andrew, now its time to focus on Hiller Football 2007, it will be here before you know it.
