When it comes to picking a player of the week in the off-season obviously the decision is very subjective. But it is hard to argue with the numbers Taylor Deep brings to the table from the weightroom. The 5'10 - 225 returning starters has bench pressed 340 pounds, would clearly test out in the squat at over 500 pounds, is athletic, and runs well. Going into track Taylor trained 5 days a week since January and will be looked upon for leadership. It is for his effort prior to track beginning that Taylor Deep has been selected as this weeks "Athlete of the Week Award Winner". Congratulations Taylor and remember to keep your focus, and work to get better everyday.
